A legend, a place, a myth that every day attracts thousands of tourists to visit one of the most romantic places and invites them to leave and exchange as many love messages, in the courtyard of the same name. An original shot of Juliet's courtyard by photographer Giò Martorana has become the unique dress of these wines, an unmistakable element of their identity.
Description
The founder and starting point of the Romeo&Juliet project, red just like love and passion. A blend of Corvina and Croatina with a percentage of Merlot that the drying period makes even softer. The hand-picked grapes are left to dry in wooden crates inside the Fruttaio, where the berries, thanks to humidity control and air circulation, lose about 30% of their water content and reach a high concentration of sugars. Since the grapes have different ripening times, vinification takes place separately in steel fermenters, and only then is the blend created. PassioneSentimento is aged in oak tonneaux for 3 months.
Characteristics
A beautiful deep ruby red colour, intense and persistent on the nose with distinct notes of red fruits and hints of spices. In the mouth it is balanced, round, soft and enveloping on the palate, with velvety tannins.
Pairing
Excellent with important red meat main courses, game and mature cheeses. Serve at 18°C.
